What I Wore: Dark, Dramatic Lips

So today's What I Wore is not as much about my outfit, but more about my lip color. I keep seeing these dark, dramatic lips and I have been dying to try it out.

However, in my attempts I did not want to shell out money for lipstick and then never wear it (I finally am learning my lesson!), so I improvised.

Sheer lip-gloss mixed with Urban Decay's "Rockstar" eye shadow and Voila--Instant dramatic lip color. It is definitely not a lip color that is going to pass the test of time, but it lasted long enough! 

Excuse my headband, it was a run out the door kinda day and so it was my attempt to tame my crazy hair into a work appropriate hair-do.

I'm excited because today I get to spend the night hanging out with my boyfriend. We are currently long distance so any time I get to hang out and see him automatically makes it a great day. He currently is commuting to and from work 3 hours a day (Gah I don’t know how he does it) but when he crashes at my place it saves him about 1 ½ hours of driving in a day. 


With our schedules so flip flopped right now I have an idea to plan a fun date night soon. I’m thinking The Putting Edge in Los Angeles, and dinner at a fun place close by. Indoor Miniature Golfing, who would pass up that opportunity??
